Who. “I”, “me” and “Rowe Local” mean Benjamin Rowe, a sole proprietor in New Jersey, doing business as Rowe Local. “You” means the business that signs up for a plan.
1. What you get
- Website ($97/month): a website built and hosted for you, with quote forms and chat that send every lead to your phone by text and email, plus updates and maintenance.
- Core ($197/month): the Website plan, plus automatic review requests, missed-call text-back, a referral campaign to past customers who agreed to hear from you, and every lead in one phone app.
- Plus ($297/month): Core, plus ongoing local SEO (a new town or service page each month), your Google Business Profile kept active (weekly posts, replies to reviews), your business listed and kept in sync across major online directories, AI and voice search optimization (so you show up when people ask Siri, Google or ChatGPT), a monthly report, and, while the photo shoot offer runs, a fresh on-site photo shoot every 6 months while you stay on Plus.
Every plan’s website is built SEO-ready (service and town pages, titles and descriptions). No plan guarantees a search ranking.
2. Billing
- You add a card or bank account at sign-up. Nothing is charged for the first 24 hours. After that your plan is billed monthly, automatically, to that payment method, on the same day each month, until you cancel. By signing up you authorize Rowe Local to make those charges.
- Setup starts as soon as you sign up. The photo shoot is booked after your first payment.
- No long-term contract.
3. The photo shoot (limited-time offer)
Core and Plus include one free on-site professional photo shoot for businesses within about an hour’s drive of Bordentown, NJ (not New York City or Philadelphia). It is booked after your first monthly payment. There is no charge for the shoot, whenever you cancel. This is a limited-time offer: I may stop offering it to new sign-ups at any time, and anyone who signed up while it was offered keeps it.
4. Cancelling
- You can cancel any time by email (ben@rowelocal.com) or text. Cancel within the first 24 hours and you’re never charged.
- After that, cancelling stops the next charge. Your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and partial months aren’t refunded.
5. Your photos
You may use the photos from your shoot for your business (website, Google, social media, print), for as long as you like, even after you cancel. I keep the copyright and may show the photos in my portfolio and on my website and social media.
6. Your website and domain when you leave
The website goes offline at the end of your last paid month. Your domain name is yours: if I registered it for you, I’ll transfer it to you free on request, so you keep the name your customers and Google know. The automated systems (review requests, missed-call text-back, texting and follow-up campaigns, and the app) stop when your plan ends. There’s no buyout fee.
7. Texting
Texts are only sent to people who have given you permission to text them. You’re responsible for that permission, and for any message you send yourself. Anyone can reply STOP to stop texts.
8. Results
The system helps you capture and answer leads and get reviews. It doesn’t guarantee a number of leads, calls, reviews or jobs.
9. Confidentiality
I keep your business information, account access and customer details private, and use them only to run your plan.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, my total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid me in the three months before the claim. Neither of us is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
11. General
- I’m an independent contractor, not your employee or agent.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
- If these terms change, the version on the day you signed up applies until you agree to a new one.
